Do I need a referral?

Referrals are not required for our podiatry services if you are self-funding or using private health insurance. However, a referral is necessary if your podiatry service is funded through the following programs:
✔ Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) / Chronic Disease Management (CDM) – Referral from your GP, providing up to five Medicare-funded podiatry visits per calendar year.
✔ Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) – Referral from your GP to access eligible podiatry services.
✔ National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) – Referral can be self-initiated or provided by another NDIS-approved provider, with services pre-arranged through the NDIS.
✔ Support at Home referrals are required through Aged Care Package providers.

What payment methods do you accept?

✔ HICAPS for private health insurance claims
✔ Medicare claims for eligible patients
✔ EFTPOS, credit card, and debit card
✔ Cash and cheque for clinic and home visit services

Can I use my private health insurance for podiatry?

Yes, we accept all major health funds and process instant rebates, using your health insurance card, through our HICAPS machine in our clinics. We recommend checking with your health fund to confirm your rebate entitlements.

How do I claim a Medicare rebate for podiatry?

If you have a valid CDM referral from your GP, we will process your Medicare claim on the spot. Medicare covers up to five podiatry visits per year, depending on your eligibility.

Do you bulk bill podiatry services?

Yes, we bulk bill clinic clients with a valid CDM or DVA referral, meaning no out-of-pocket costs for eligible patients.

Can I use my NDIS funding for podiatry?

Yes! We are an NDIS-registered provider offering podiatry services for eligible participants. Your NDIS funding can cover assessments, foot care and assistive technology items such as custom orthotics, and medical-grade footwear.

Can I use my Support at Home funding for podiatry?
