Muscle rehab & exercise FAQs
This program is suitable for anyone recovering from a foot or lower limb injury, managing chronic pain or looking to improve strength, mobility and overall function. We also support patients with conditions like plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, arthritis or general muscle weakness.
No referral is required for private patients. If you’re using NDIS, an Aged Care Package or other third-party funding, a referral may be required. Contact us for guidance based on your situation.
Your initial session includes a detailed assessment with one of our podiatrists. We’ll evaluate your muscle strength, flexibility, gait and any current or previous injuries. From there, we’ll develop a personalised exercise plan to suit your needs and goals.
Program length varies depending on your condition, goals and progress. Some patients see improvements within a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support over several weeks or months.
Most exercises can be done with minimal equipment and we’ll adapt your plan to suit your home or gym environment. If equipment is needed, we’ll provide guidance or recommend accessible options.
Programs can be delivered in-clinic or as part of our home visit services (for eligible patients). We’ll work with you to determine the most convenient and effective setting.
Absolutely! As you progress, we’ll equip you with the knowledge and tools to confidently continue your exercises at home. Follow-up sessions can be scheduled as needed to review and adjust your plan.
